Stories in the Summerlands is now out

It is said that when Britain is in the direst peril and needs him the most, King Arthur will arise from his grave and return. We know this because we used to hear rhymes about it while still in the cradle – bardic poems that hail from of an age that Time forgot, when our ancestors carved stories about the Once and Future King in the green and pleasant hills of Avalon and then left them there for the salvation of mankind.

These esoteric dramas are as rich and fertile as the black peat laid down in the soil of those salt marshes and flower-filled meadows because they are threaded through with deep spiritual teachings that come from gentler, slower days …when both treasure and pleasure were measured by meaning and a man’s dreams were valued more than gold.

Stories in the Summerlands will be kept down in price for two weeks so that subscribers can take advantage of the lower price of £15.00 (US $ 18.50)

The deeper significance of these stories is only visible to those with the eyes to see, of which there are few today. Yet they are still faithfully acted out, every night, by colossal earthwork giants on a massive stage that is lit by stars shining down into an oft-flooded cauldron-shaped landscape reminiscent of the Holy Grail.

So let me use my skills as a shaman and mythologist to guide you along this winding pilgrimage which digs under all the religious and political glosses to excavate the esoteric messages that our earlier ancestors have enchanted and engineered into Avalon – a huge, royal diamond-shaped Merlin’s Precinct of more than 100 square miles.

The Holy Grail

In Stories in the Summerlands,  I explain in simple terms how the Holy Grail is synonymous with the Philosopher’s Stone and the Vesica Piscis, and how local Somerset legends about Jesus and Joseph of Arimathea are actually vehicles for the secret codes of the Grailkeepers who, going back at least as far as the days of King Alfred the Great and the Knights Templars, have used this “land of the nobles” to underpin the spirit of Sovereignty.

It is no mere empty custom that every Christmas, Queen Elizabeth is sent a sprig of may blossoms from the Holy Thorn that grows on Wearyall Hill and that on Beltane and Samhain, the duel over the hand of the Queen of the May is celebrated by drumming and piping crowds escorting carved red and white dragons along lovage-lined lanes to Glastonbury Tor.

The ciphered messages of those custodians of the grail are still writ large in the art and architecture of the churches and cathedrals, keeping alive the wisdom of the Dragon Clans of old, despite the efforts of many a Christian bishop to eradicate it through the burning of abbey libraries, the dissolution of the monasteries and the grotesque execution of the last abbot of Glastonbury.

The Grailkeepers

You will also learn in Stories in the Summerlands about the Weavers and Keepers of the Grail Mysteries who, like the Old Norse Norns who used words, pictures and music to weave the weft and warp of Wyrd, which we call consensual reality. They are also the three fairies of the spinning wheel of the Sleeping Beauty, who guard and keep her safe while she dreams so that eventually her whole court can be awakened by the kiss of the Prince. In other words, they are the creators of the culture that underpins the values of our social fabric, the material of which is kept in good condition by the telling and re-telling of these metaphorical stories which have been impregnated and enchanted into the land of Avalon.

As Shelley wrote: “Poets are the secret legislators of the world.”

I will explain all of this, and more, as I walk alongside you on a real pilgrimage of the soul in which you will develop the ability to recognise the esoteric wonders impregnated into the secret places of the Summerlands of Avalon. And once the hidden knowledge of the initiates of the Mysteries is revealed to you, you will be able to enrich your own life experience because it will open your eyes to the magic in your own land.

As a subscriber to my blog you’re among the first to know that Stories in the Summerlands: A pilgrimage into Avalon  is now published and so you will be in time to get it at reduced cost. About me and my work

Hello, I’m Annie Dieu-Le-Veut and I’m a shaman and story archaeologist who digs up the originals of ancient myths and then breaks down their hidden meanings to throw open the doors of perception. In this blog, you can follow my writings that reveal the spiritual wisdom that has been coded by our ancestors into our indigenous stories.

Why is this ancient wisdom so important for us to learn about today?

Where do we go when all the stories fail?

Where do we go when all the stories fail?

All the stories are failing. Fewer and fewer want to go and sit in big, draughty buildings with high ceilings – no matter how beautifully fan-vaulted – to hear them anymore. The picture below shows the purpose-made wooden pews of the 12th century church of St John the Baptist in Glastonbury, Somerset. Last week, they went to auction to be sold off to the highest bidder.

The Spiritual Roots of Sovereignty, the Faery Folk of Avalon and The Glastonbury Declaration

This is my first in a series of video broadcasts around the topic of reclaiming Sovereignty. I explain a little about how Sovereignty is a spiritual force that comes forth from the spirits of the land, otherwise known as the Fae or faeries.  After that, I talk about The Glastonbury Declaration which we announced on the Winter Solstice 2014, and how – although we didn’t realise its full import at the time – it was a small stream that fed into what was to become a great surging tidal flood along the river in the battle for the Sovereignty of Britain and, soon after that, the United States. The Bright World of the Gods: A true faery tale from the mists of Avalon

The Bright World of the Gods was gifted into my Dreamtime by the spirits of the land that inhabit the other dimensions that are found, shamanically, through the mists of Avalon, in Somerset, England. These spirits are known locally as the Gentle Folk, or the Fae, although you might know them better as faeries.

So this is a real faery story for enlightened adults that comes from a benevolent Elder race whose role it is to guide the steps of humanity. As such, it is perfect  for curling up with by the fire when the white frost of the Sugar Plum Faery is crackling the grass underfoot, or to inspire dreaming on balmier days, under a gnarled old apple tree in an enchanted wood.

In this romantic magical mystery tour around the Glastonbury enchanted landscape, you will follow Bridie and Gwyn ap Nudd as they meet the challenges necessary for alchemical inner growth that leads to full spiritual realisation, along with other archetypal characters that have stepped out of Celtic myths such as Manawydan, Gwyddion, Creiddylad, Taliesen, Elen and Morgan the Fae.

You may just want to enjoy this epic tale on a superficial level as a beautiful love story that is full of intriguing escapades and interesting ideas  – which is fine. But those looking for keys to unlock faery doorways into deeper cosmological teachings will also find them here along with the instructions on how to unlock them.

Either way, just relax and wander through the wonderous hills and dales of The Bright World of the Gods, and let it permeate into your own Dreamtime so that it can do its magic there and give you insights into your own destiny, and the meaning of your life.

The Occult Meaning of St Martin’s Day and the Seven Sacred Isles of Avalon

Today is St Martin’s Day or Martin Mass. It would have been 1st November, before the Gregorian calendar replaced the Julian one in 1582. Yes, that’s right … it would have been on Samhain, the day of the bone-fires.

Today is also Armistice Day – to commemorate the signing of the armistice agreement to mark the end of World War 1. What a coincidence… er, or maybe not. Continue reading
