The storm is now raging all around us. Yet at its centre, in its single eye, all is completely still, peaceful and serene.
I’ve published a lot on Annie’s Apothecary about what nutritional steps you can take to strengthen your immune system from viral attack. But as we know, we are much more than just our bodies. We are made up of a body-mind-spirit field that is governed by the spirit. When the spirit feels well, that wellness radiates to all parts of the body and mind to achieve homeostasis.
The definition of homeostasis is “the tendency towards a relatively stable equilibrium between interdependent elements, especially as maintained by physiological processes.”
The body is always seeking to achieve this physiological equilibrium. But it is not like a mechanical car engine – it is more like the sea. When that sea is churning from the storms of mental disturbance or spiritual dysfunction, that is when we are much more likely to be vulnerable to all kinds of dis-eases and our immune systems cannot cope with a viral attack.
I have been practising the Ecstasy of the Heart meditation technique for many years and it has proved to be the only way to get me straight into homeostasis within seconds. I actually feel the energetic waves radiating out into the sea of my body, just like a throw stone creates ripples on a pond. It soothes and calms the troubled waters almost instantly.
The Ecstasy of the Heart meditation quickly restores harmony to both the mental and physical bodies. And the “white noise” of the storm, while still raging all around me, seems to lessen considerably, and this allows me to be able to concentrate on more fulfilling and useful activities.
The Ecstasy of the Heart meditation is probably one of most powerfully metamorphic shamanic healing techniques that you will ever practise – and you don’t even have to be a shaman to do it. Anyone can do the Ecstasy of the Heart and benefit enormously from it – anyone who has a heart. And it will not only change how you feel, but it will also change the world that you’re outpicturing around you.
If you would like to try it, you can read how to do it here: The Ecstasy of the Heart
