We have come a long way since those expected to assume worldly power were trained in the Mysteries and initiated into the Sovereignty of the Land. I have shown good reason to believe that King Alfred the Great was one such initiate, bound by ‘a silver thread through the eye of a golden needle’ to the Elves. After that, I’m not so sure.

When a king or president has not been initiated into the Mysteries of the land by a cuen, a female trained in the arts of sacred sex magic, they do not have the wisdom to rule over it.

The events that mark the decline and fall of civilisations throughout the whole of known history, when not caused by Earth catastrophes, are invariably accompanied by leaders whose lack of wisdom causes them to exhibit the Shadow side of the Ruler archetype.

Often, the decline of a nation begins when such an ignoramus comes to occupy the highest position in the land. He has not been educated properly; he has no wisdom to guide him. The annals of history is replete with popes, tsars and sultans who destroyed all the spiritual teachings, the Mystery Groves and those still in touch with the serpent spirits, fearing their power. From the Gnostics, the Cathars and the Bogomils to the Druids and the Knights Templars — all were murdered. At Beziers, France, in 1209, 20,000 Cathars were murdered in a single day.

The leader stuck in the Shadow of the Ruler archetype is weak and impotent. He is psychologically unable to maintain the defensive ‘ditches’ and ‘walls’ of his own inner, psychological worlds, let alone those that bound his own kingdoms. He cannot even predict from which way the wind will be blowing short of a few days ahead.

His ignorance is compounded by nihilism. His slavish devotion to false science and false religions has convinced him that the material world is just a random collision of chemicals in which nothing has real, lasting intrinsic meaning.

Perhaps it has never been explained better than by Giorgio de Santillana and Hertha von Dechen in their book Hamlet’s Mill.

“When man discovers remote galaxies by the million, and then those quasi-stellar sources billions of light-years away which confound his speculation, he is happy he can reach out to those depths. But he pays a terrible price for his achievement. The science of astrophysics reaches out on a grander and grander scale without losing its footing. Man as man cannot do this. In the depths of space, he loses himself and all notion of his significance. He is unable to fit himself into the concepts of today’s astrophysics short of schizophrenia. Modern man is facing the inconceivable.”

The human being carries his psychological strength and confidence in his knees. In being thrown into what seems to him to be an unforgiving, mechanical and ultimately meaningless universe, his “emotional knees” give way and he collapses. Then his enemy can walk straight in and claim the kingdom without even a shot being fired. We were shown this graphically when so many heads of our institutions rapidly and obediently took the knee to the race grifters of Black Lives Matter.

Without being grounded in true wisdom, the uniniated leader has no sense of being rooted. Instead, there is a feeling of being blown hither and thither, at the mercy of unknown forces. This creates the white-knuckled tyrant-type, frantically flailing out to grasp at the ruins and remnants of his fast disappearing empire. The more he tries try to hold on to it, the faster it slips through his fingers.

It takes wisdom, wit and a knowledge of the Wyrd to maintain the wellbeing and walls of kingdoms, and this can only come from ‘the wiliest in field’, the serpent itself.

That is why the kings, pharaohs and tsars used to undergo various kinds of sacred sexual initiations from those who kept up the Covenant with the serpents, the guardians of all that lives and breathes on Earth.
