As I explained in my last article, Odin Part One – Journeying God of Magical and Social Wisdom, Odin travels throughout the Nine Worlds in his quest for wisdom and to avert his own prophesied end, told him by a Seeress. He gains amazing resources along the way, including the runes and the mead of wisdom and poetry. He grows in magical and transformative power.
I also ventured that gaining this kind of occult wisdom may not be everyone’s path in life. If this path is your choice then you might well ask what were the processes, the methods by which he gained such power? Enough information is given in the Poetic and Prose Eddas to establish that he engages in forms of initiation and sacrifice in order to alter or expand consciousness, gaining knowledge of himself and the nature of reality. The true meaning of Apocalypse means ‘revelations’ and in our case, the huge revelations about what’s really happening on the world stage is leading us through a classic rite of passage into initiation and enlightenment over the next two to three years.
In this video, I explain how this kind of rite of passage is being fuelled by the spirit of Sovereignty, and how it can lead us to greater empowerment and also to find our twin soul or twin flame.
Who trusted God was love indeed
And love Creation’s final law
Tho’ Nature, red in tooth and claw
With ravine, shriek’d against his creed.
I couldn’t remember where this line came from when I recorded my new video last night. So I looked it up, and discovered that it’s from Lord Alfred Tennyson’s poem, In Memoriam A.H.H. The poem turned out to be well worth the read, in its entirety, because it’s here we see the false idea taking shape of a Nature that is separate from God, and that is ‘shrieking against his creed’.
This cognitive concept, of the divide between God and the creation to the point that they are enemies, was seeded during the Orwellian-named “Enlightenment” period that began a century before this poem was published and if was written today, we would call it psy-ops. Continue reading
I keep seeing these internet messages from light beings or ETs about how we should think and act … but disturbingly, this message doesn’t seem to vary from the one we’ve been given for thousands of years by the major world religions. You know the ones, the ‘love one another’, ‘turn the other cheek’ meme, etc etc… Continue reading
It seems to me that the situation we’re in regarding the threat to the survival of our race has all the hallmarks of an initiatory test as part of a rite of passage.
What do I mean by rite of passage?
The rite of passage was a practice – and often still is among those indigenous tribes that remain – going back thousands of years, in which the boys would be taken away, deep into the forest, by the Elders, and there they would be put through their paces by facing natural dangers head on. The adversaries were real – and sometimes, some of the children would fail to overcome them, and would be killed. But those that survived to make it back to the tribe, came back men. In other words, they could only survive by finding their own natural intelligence which is carried in the race memories of the Rivers of Blood, as it’s known in faery lore. (Read more in The Faery wisdom about race… and the rivers of blood). Continue reading
Excavations at Gobekli Tepe in Turkey — at 11,000 years old, assessed to be the oldest temple on Earth — are not yet even halfway through. But will archaeologists eventually find that Gobekli Tepe is a labyrinth, or even a series of labyrinths, and that the carving on the stones are star constellations leading the initiate along his self-transformative journey? SOMETIMES I get asked about why I became a shamanic healer, or how I became a shaman, and I would like to try to describe something of the process here, albeit that my path towards becoming a shaman began before I was even aware of any kind of process taking place. Continue reading
