A lot has been written about sacred sex in Tantric texts and books. But they do not address how the process is different for the woman. In this article, I use some extracts from my book to describe and illustrate those differences.
For one thing, the inner spiritual orgasm for females feels different to the usual physical climax. It is a state rather than a function. It is a delicate unfolding and blooming of what modern Western scientists have labelled the G-spot (Gräfenberg spot). The G-spot is often difficult to reach for humans; most women never experience its delights.
It is in the area of the sacrum that the sacristy of the church was modelled after. During the Middle Ages, the sacristy had deep theological significance. Prominent medieval scholars like William Durandus interpreted this sacred chamber symbolically as the Virgin Mary’s womb, from which Christ (the priest) emerged into the main body of the church.
However, Eastern sacred sexual magic practices do not focus on isolating the G spot, or any specific anatomical spot like the clitoris, for a quick physical release. In fact, they eschew sterile, clinical terms like “G-spot” or “clitoris”. Instead, these texts emphasise the holistic experience of the sacred union.
They talk about whole-body arousal, full-body energy cultivation and prolonged internal friction as a way to awaken the “sacred waters” —regardless of whether a localised physical climax occurs.
Ancient Chinese Taoist texts, such as 4th century Secret Instructions in the Jade Chamber, mapped the female anatomy using highly beautiful and evocative metaphors. As shown above, the internal region known in the West as the G-spot is called the Milk Fruit, and it is cradled within the tissue network responsible for the climax of sacred waters, known as the Moon Flower or Lunar Blossom.
The Lunar Blossom is described as “gushing copious amounts of nectar” or “releasing honey” from the Jade Fountain, the Taoist poetic term for the yoni. For this reason, the secretions of a woman’s Jade Fountain are valued as health-giving nectars in and of themselves, and for more than just physical health.
In the Hindu Tantric traditions, female sexual secretions are viewed as divine elixirs. They are also sometimes referred to as Kalas.
The secretion of Kalas is considered a visible manifestation that a woman is a fully-realised being; a sign of her immense sexual and spiritual power. It the ambrosia of the Greek gods of Olympus. It is the much-prized mead of Odin. In Indian Vedic myths, amrita from this fountain is consumed by deities to maintain higher consciousness.
There are more than 40 black-and-white illustrations in The Way of the Serpent: Immortality Through Sacred Lovemaking. This article shows colourised, animated versions of a few of them. The one above illustrates a process that can be mistaken for the Kundalini rising. It is actually inner fire, called Tummo, and the flames are fanned upwards by the winds (lung) on either side of the central channel.

The Tummo fire ascends and eventually meets the Bindu droplet coming down from the crown as shown on videos further down. It melts it into nectar or living waters that circle the Wheel of Light at the heart chakra, before descending and cascading into the yoni.
This is not just theory…although you can read it in some ancient Tibetan texts. But from experience, I can tell you that it saves massively on heating bills!
There are women in one of the few ashrams that still practise sacred sex, high up in the Himalayas. With snow metres-deep on the ground, they regularly walk around their buildings wearing flimsy shirts and bare feet. Similarly, there are half-naked saddhus and yogis meditating high up in the peaks with huge rings around them of dry earth, after having melted the snow, like human radiators, with their Tummo.
The Great Cycle of Return
To achieve immortality through sacred lovemaking involves the body responding in the ways shown above. It is called the Great Cycle of Return and it comes from Taoism and Tibetan Buddhism. What takes place is the meeting between the drop of the nectar of immortality, above our heads, and the fire that begins in the sacrum.
The process begins after the Milk Fruit in the Lunar Blossom is stimulated by a sound frequency supplied by the Divine Consort. The flames, called Tummo, ignite and begin to rise up to meet the Bindu, the nectar droplet that is descending down from above the crown to meet it.
The Bindu nectar droplet, as it passes the heart, triggers the Wheel of Light to spin, which causes ecstatic visions of golden light and heavenly realms, otherwise known as enlightenment.
The other vital piece of information you won’t find anywhere else is about the role of the serpents in the process, without whom none of all this would possible.
