I am offering a new attunement as part of my Star Song Oracles readings, so do please read on to discover what it’s all about.

I’ve been aware for a long time about the great significance of Ursa Major (the Great Bear constellation) to shamanic tribes going back thousands of years, right across the northern hemisphere, where it’s variously known as the Big Dipper, the Plough and Arthur’s Wain.

The Bear Cult was widespread across Europe during Neolithic times and even today, Native American tribes give great importance to the Polar Bear (the bear in the polar stars) in their rituals. Shamans in Siberia painted the constellation on their drums and the Celts preserved it in the character of Arthur Pendragon, long before the Normans stole him for their Arthurian cycle stories.

But it is only since attending a talk on the Seven Rays a few weeks ago that I finally understood why that constellation was so revered by our ancestors who understood the importance of the Great Bear to our shamanic attunement into our place in the cosmic round.

I learned that the Seven Rays form the rainbow bridge of the Norse, Bilfrost, the prismatic colours of the electromagnetic rays that stream from the Word of God, otherwise known as Om, that cymatically build, maintain and eventually destroy this simulation that we call life.

The god Heimdallr stands before the rainbow bridge while blowing his horn (1905) by Emil Doepler.

The Seven Rays come into our solar system via Ursa Major, the Great Bear, and then the seven planetary logoses facilitate their entry into our planet Earth…and into us.

The Seven Planets

This force is at its most potent at dawn, which is when I meditate on which ever planetary logos rules that day, and thus receive that attunement. I’ve been doing it for years, not because I understood about the Seven Rays, but because it always makes me feel good. It’s a tangible experience; it can make the body shudder as the energies enter, and it goes on to make an enormous difference to the quality of my day.

So because its practice comes under what’s known now as esoteric astrology, I have decided to offer guidance on how to get this daily attunement as an optional part of my Star Song Oracles readings.
