About me and my work

Hello, I’m Annie Dieu-Le-Veut and I’m a shaman and story archaeologist who digs up the originals of ancient myths and then breaks down their hidden meanings to throw open the doors of perception. In this blog, you can follow my writings that reveal the spiritual wisdom that has been coded by our ancestors into our indigenous stories.

Why is this ancient wisdom so important for us to learn about today?

We’ve all had our cognitive processes carved into shape by the tales that we’ve been told. Stories are what make the world go round. We live and breathe according to the weave of the narrative that we’ve received from birth, so much so, that we’d find it difficult to leave our beds in the mornings unless there is an Ariandne-like red thread or winding yarn to show us the way through the labyrinth of our day.

As Shelley once said: “Poets are the secret legislators of the world.”

This is why we become attached to our own stories and can get quite upset when someone tells us another that doesn’t chime with “our own”. I put “our own” in inverted commas, because unless it’s one which can be traced back to the mythological seedbed of our own early ancestors, it is rarely actually “our own”. But Nature abhors a vacuum, and so in the absence of the sagas from our own forebears to guide us along our life’s path, we tend, like a sleep walker stumbling along a landing, to grab hold of the rope railings of any tall tale we’re given.

However, the further back in time we go, the more wisdom the metaphorical myths contain. That’s why I dig and dig and dig, looking for the cosmological teachings of the ancestors whose Rivers of Blood run through our veins in the Bright World Above, and through the dark caverns of the Land Below in which they are buried, often in the very spot where they fell fighting to defend this sacred soil for future generations.

Our Rivers of Blood have run through this Blessed Land of the British Isles for at least six thousand years, due to the efforts of innumerable generations who worked with the spirits of the land in protecting our Sovereignty and thus hold the space for us. They were not altruistic; they were acting in their own enlightened self-interest, because they understood the importance of the family line thriving into the future.

Through all this I have come to realise that the more a society comes away from the stories of its shamans, the more it can be persuaded to the point of bullying to act in the interests of pathological altruism, rather than in its own enlightened self-interest. This is how our enemies weaken us, making us much more susceptible to fall to those who have no scruples at all about in acting in their own enlightened self-interest and Nature will favour them, because they are more intelligent than us in the matter of survival.

We can see this throughout history – how many indigenous tribes have been moved off their traditional lands in the last few centuries? It is not because they are or were wiser than us. It is because they lost touch with their roots, with their ancestral spirits in their own soil, and were persuaded to adopt foreign stories that their enemies gave them.

The same thing will happen here in Britain unless we bring back our own stories that run through our own Rivers of Blood and Soil, and start to teach them to our children again.

How to follow my teachings

If you’re thinking of getting one or more of my books, can I give you a bit of a steer? There are two ways to receive my teachings, and each augments the other.

If you wish to go down the fictional route, and become inspired in your dreams and imagination by the coded magical keys, symbols and metaphors hidden in mytho-poetic romantic adventures, I suggest that you read The Bright World of the Gods first, and then The Grail Mysteries.

You can just curl up by a log fire in winter, or under an old sprawling apple tree in summer, and  enjoy these tantalising tales purely for their entertainment value. However, those already advanced in wisdom will also be able to bathe in the deeper, magical rivers flowing underneath that tell another story – one that is nourishing to the heart and the soul. Both of these novels chart the progress of women as they awaken to their innate capacity for sacred shamanic love, and they contain easily recognisable characters from Celtic myths such as Merlin, Manawyddan, Gwyn ap Nudd, Arianrhod, Gwyddion and Taliesin.

However, if you feel you need some help with unravelling the meanings of the symbols and metaphors found in ancient myths, my theoretical works are straightforward accounts that explain these Mystery teachings in plain language, so read on.

In The Sacred Sex Rites of Ishtar, you will discover an ancient teaching that has been secret for many millennia, and only revealed to the chosen few, about how sexual ecstasy is achieved through holy sacrament.

I show how erotic poetry and engravings from ancient Egypt, Crete, India, Sumer and Babylon were about sacred sex, which used to be part of Kingship rites that enlightened the ruler and thus gave him the ability to rule.

In this book, I reveal the metaphysical anatomy of the human being, and then disclose the previously secret techniques of shamanic sex magic, so that people can try them for themselves.

In Stories in the Stars, you will learn that ancient myths are like Trojan horses that carry our ancestors’ voices and wisdom that they hid in astrological and alchemical metaphors.

Over thousands of years, these orally-transmitted wisdom teaching stories have been twisted and bastardised into fake histories in order to serve various and changing political imperatives. Once I’ve taught you how to decode them, you will be able to transform and reincarnate into your own life today.
